hi all,
i have a kioti mechron 2200 that is in my shop for repair. When i start the vehicle it runs perfectly in neutral, but as soon as i shift in high it grinds shift past that into low it stalls and does the same when i put it into reverse. I did some inspection and read a couple forums online that said the shifter cables could be the issue. had my foreman also inspect the cables with me and nothing jumped out at us when shifting with the vehicle off or on besides the noise. under the hood we notice a good amount of play where the actual shifter bolts to the cable so i tightened that and though the play is no longer there/minimal the problems still persist. Anyone also have the same or similar issues and what was ur solution not to familar with these style of vehicles to begin with i primarily have only done simple work to do like maintenance and small engine bay work. Vehicle is at 2040 hours currently
