I haven't been diagnosed with an enlarged prostate or taken any medication for urinary problems. I had started having to get up multiple times during the night, I talked to my doctor about it and he didn't seem overly concerned, my PSA numbers were good, and he didn't think I needed Flomax yet and basically sent me on my way. So after a couple of years of this I had pretty much accepted it, it wasn't getting any worse.
So I end up at my chiropractor with some neck pain (I hadn't been in a couple of years), he adjusts me and the pain was gone. It had been several years since I had had any x-rays done so he takes some pictures and finds some disc degeneration. So we come up with a treatment plan. I start going a couple days a week to get adjusted. He would always ask how my neck pain was and I kept explaining that it had been gone since the first adjustment. Within the first couple weeks the big thing I noticed was I wasn't getting up at night any more. I had never even mentioned to him about my problem, I never considered that any spinal alignment issues might have been related.
Everything was fine the 4 months I was getting adjusted regularly. Now I haven't been in a few months again and I'm back to getting up at least a couple of times a night.
For me my problem is nerve related cause by a subluxation in my spine. I'm by no means saying this could be anybodys problem here, but I never considered it to be my problem either.
