Hi all,
I am somewhat confused and could use some expert knowledge on my tractor controls. I have:

I need to better understand / confirm the adjustments and what they are used for. In particular, the controls that are on the housing inside for the FEL. Here is what I have:

The knob on the side (far right) moves the white indicator (in the second slot from the bottom) forward and back. What does this control and why would I adjust this ?

This "box" also has flippers that you can pick up and drop into the slots that control the raising / lowering and bucket tilt for the FEL:

All they seem to do is limit the throw on the controls, but there is no adjustment, they are either in the slot (as shown) or drop back down as shown in the previous picture. Why use these ? Is another control adjustment needed to use these effectively ?

Then there is, on the side of the box:

How should I be using this ?

I have no manuals and cannot find a comprehensive explanation online ? So, I am not 100% certain on how to use all these controls effectively. SIMPLE explanations would be VERY helpful.
Embarrassed to admit, but trying to better understand the operations.
Thanks to responders. Go easy on me. :)

I hope these explanations are simple enough for you.

Black knob with white adjustable stop controls distance 3 pt control lever forward movement which controls distance that 3pt hitch can lower.

Plastic guide that one can raise to allow scv lever to move further forward allows scv to go in "'float position".

Black knob changes setting on load depth control from maximum to minimum.

Bolt with locknut show in photo below controls friction applied to 3pt control lever to limit 3pt control lever movement.

You can download a free operators manual or purchase a digital or paper operators manual @ Search for Equipment Publications - Technical Information Store

Thank-you.
So the "load depth control" is the setting that controls the 3-point raising and lowering sensing the pressure / drag ? That is, with my box blade on, a minimum setting would raise and lower more sensitive then. Do I have this right ?
If so, then the proper way to set-up for my box blade would be to:
1.) Use the black knob to set the white indicator to make ground contact.
2.) Use the other black knob setting to set the raising / lowering ground sensing

Or I still have it wrong ? 🤷‍♂️

You understand the majority of what I stated correctly.

Load is utilized on ground engaging equipment such as a moldboard plow. Load setting is auto depth sensing accomplished by flexing lower shaft that 3pt draft arms attach to which moves 3pt control linkage inside of tractor.

If I was operating a box blade on my JD tractor I would put L/D control in minimum/zero/depth setting.

Thanks Jim,

I *think* I have it now ?🤞
