I think we're all in luck, I just heard some of the speech that Obama's making tonight, and one of the first thing he's gonna take care of is these no email notices at TBN, then he say's he' going up to So. Vermont and get some free toast, don't what that's all about........

TBN is not letting me know by Email, when someone responds to threads I post to. Does anyone know if that is now the norm or is there a internal problem? Ken Sweet

Don't know Ken - I am not getting any either. I now do a search on my user name to see if anyone responded to threads I have posted on. Nothing in my inbox either.

That used to work for me but it has been about a month since I have had a notice.
Looking at today's posts and judging by the green ticks I should have had about 6-7 notices.

The moderators can't do anything about it, only administrators (ie: Muhammad and company)

There's NO free toast up here, but if he stays in the VA area he can have plenty of free snow.

I'll bet they've got their hands full right now.

Good time to switch back to the toaster conversation, especially since I have found one that works. Ironically, it's our old toaster from the basement that I had replaced with what I thought was a new and improved one that couldn't cut the mustard. Great for some but not for me. All I want is good toast, fast. Pictures tomorrow if I get around to it.

Instant email notifications have stopped here also. And, I agree with Sodo. Besides being annoying, it's not good for TBN business.

I generally cannot get on the forum and can't be the only one. Often I prepare a post and then am unable to post it. I know nothing about the computer biz but think the pop up ads are somehow interfering with things. As well, I keep getting "no response from TBN" popups and I have to refresh the screen. Sometimes my screen just locks up when I try to refresh and sometimes I have to try a few times but most of the time I get a frozen screen and can't get on. I also think the different versions of TBN, the old and new are somehow interfering with each other.

This is fundamentally a good site, make that great site with good people trying to do the right thing so I'm optimistic things will eventually work out.

If you click "Today's Posts" at the top of the page, and scan down, it shows the ones you have posted in with a green dot on the envelope icon.

It shows the ones you are subscribed to with a check mark in a green dot.

Your are right! But I used to get a notification whenever a reply was posted to a discussion that I had posted to.

You are right, however, this makes the user be proactive and check the site to see if there are any posts that he needs to respond to. The email notices are the best for users that do not have time to check the site several time a day. Ken Sweet

Remember this is happening to everyone, therefore you're not a jerk, unless you don't respond to this post!

It IS frustrating as he11 to not get notices, and I'm not going to jump through hoops to keep up. I do go to today's posts and scroll down the list, but that is my modus operandi already, so nothing has changed as to my methods.
I sure hope they pull it together soon. I could care less about ads, I have ad blocker plus in place, so I never see any ads anyway- YEAH! I HATE site embedded ads, TV ads, etc. I won't look at ads on TV or web sites, no matter what!!

Oh yeah, double posts, I hate that too; what is the solution to that?!

Your last comment showed double posting on my browser and would not let me respond to you. I refreshed the screen and the second post was gone. Is that a site issue for anyone else?
