Would anyone be able to tell me if there should be slop at the point my finger is at. The problem i am having is when my brakes 5release 4x4 i will get a loud clunking back there this is a caseih 75c thanks

Are you saying that when you release the brake pedals that you get a clunk in the front wheel drivetrain?

No its at the other end at the control unit the one with the solinoid

Many 4wd tractors with electrically engaged 4wd will engage the front axle when the brakes are applied.
And yes i have a few tractors that do so.
