I had a warn 6k winch that I mounted on a receiver mount plate.
I had a receiver on my quick hitch and on the front of the trailer that I could move it from one to the other or store it in the shop.
It really worked out good, kinda heavy but manageable.
I really have my heart set on a portable gas powered capstan rope winch as my next want.
