Electric heater / defroster

Heater in my truck started leaking and I bypassed it. I don't have the time to fix it now and was wondering if anyone has experience with the 12 heater / defrosters.

Cig lighter plug in ones I've seen are about 150 watts - not much use up here in snow country. Think of it as 1/10'th of a hair dryer.

They move some air, and add a very tiny bit of heat - might be enough for you to scrape by with for a while down your way.
