I think JJ has a gas industrial engine in his. 4 or 6 cylinder but can't recall. One of those small straight 4 chevy engines might be nice.

My 1445 uses a small 4 cyl Ford industrial engine with radiator.

It takes up every inch of the 1445 tub space.

Hey J_J, how does that motor drive the various pumps? My 425 has the tram pump directly coupled on one end of the crankshaft and the two section PTO/steering, lift, AUX PTO directly coupled to the other end of the crankshaft.

My PTO pump is piggybacked on the VSP pump/tram pump on work end.

Radiator and fan on the other end.

My steering and lift pump is powered by the fan belt.

Steering pump - 1.5 GPM

PTO pump = 13 GPM

Tram pump - estimate 7.5 GPM

Total = 22 GPM

How are your main PTO and VSP attached to the engine?

The VSP is bolted to the engine and the PTO pump is piggybacked on the VSP.

There has to be a splined receptacle for the splined pump.

This is my pump , bottom left.
