It's nothing to see all brands with 250,000 miles and still going strong. It is what it is. The 5.3 finally has the power the others did 10 years ago. It's the GM way, the safe approach. They sit back and watch what works and what doesn't then follow the pack. I get a kick out of the new GM cargo system. Soft drop tailgate, my 05 F150 had that as does my buddies 04 Titan and my 08. Cargo tie downs that are moveable. Nissan and Toyota have had that for more than 10 years. And the best of all is the step into the bed. Howie Long is laughing all the way to the bank since he got paid off his Ford bashing "Man Step" commercials. I will give them credit though, the step in the bumper is more user friendly. By the way the 6.0 is a good GM truck engine. A little thirsty but a lot of bang for the buck. Chris
