Ebay Ads on right side?

Extremely annoying, and will probably the the last straw for a lot of folks on dialup. I have a nice big 20" LCD monitor set for 1600x1200, and those bloody eBay adverts take up 30% of my screen width. They're so wide, they force the actual thread titles into second lines. When the banner adds and header are factored in (40% of screen height), the actual forum itself is relegated to less than 30% of the viewing area.

I see misplaced priorities here, when fixed width advertising forces the contextual content to compress. It should be the other way around.

I don't see what the big uproar is about /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif Besides, it helps pay for this site /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Ebay ads... BD. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

At least it gives us a chance to get a first hand view of any scam auctions. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I doubt it, particularly since there are ways around seeing them.

Change your stylesheet (via My Home) to one with small fonts.

You're right,

BD about the eBay ads, but do it above or below the forums, not in the horizontal.

But then Micro$oft gave us windows users a host file to play with as well..

They're not supposed to take up that much space. Must be a glitch. I'll look into it.
