Quakes in the 4.0-4.5 range cant be felt when you are standing outside unless you are propped up against something solid like a tree or fence post. Setting inside at a table you can feel a bit of a shake. As long as there are small ones, it is a good sign that the pressure is relieving itself slowly. Better to have 10,000 of the 4.0 than one 9+ like happened in the 1800's

Your idea of "a bit of a shake" doesn't match what I felt during the last one. It felt like someone kicked my chair! :shocked: The TV was bouncing and stuff was rattling all around me. Fortunately it didn't last long this time.

Well todays earthquake was "a bit of a shake", at Magnitude 3.8 and 15 miles east of us.

We just went through the first one I'd ever seen and it was awesome! It felt like someone had driven a car into the house. My wife usually sleeps like the dead, but when this thing hit, she bailed out of the bedroom, thinking that the chimney had fallen!
