A local dealer has a couple of E-gators with about 400 hours on them for $4500 each. They come with the dump box and one year warranty. Has anyone used one for light to medium work? Basically around the house stuff like top soil and firewood. I'm attracted to the silent operation but if they aren't more than a heavy duty golf carts,I'll probably look elsewhere. Any thoughts? Thanks!!

I have one at my stable that we use to haul hay bales to the
stalls and to past out the feed for the horses. The E- Gator
has a fast gound speed and is ok for off hard ground driving with the right tires.
But don't drive through to much mud or you will get stuck.

You don't need to fuel in up. Just charge it ever now and then.
If you take care of the batteries they will last and give you good service. They do cost around 500 to 600 dollars to replace the six or seven of them.

Good luck!
