Tailswing with that load would be a real problem. The point is why but a trailer that you already know is pretty much too short?

Because a trailer that is long enough will consume 30% of your load capacity in all the additional material needed to lengthen the trailer.

If you are only hauling leaves, it wouldn't matter,, but, in that case,, you do not need a backhoe.

Adding 30 foot to the semi trailer is obviously impractical. How much difference is a 12vs14 foot trailer?

I already had my 12' dump before buying the RK24, if I did it the other way around I'd have gone 14' or 16'

Everyone has thier own use case. In my use case, I want something as light and manuverable as reasonably possible.
