I don’t think I have a good picture of it but on the sides I welded a stake pocket. I’m going to get a piece of 3 in channel to support the sides.

Itç—´ been a long day but the floor is in. Ran out of bolts lol. Need one more row across the floor and then bolts to bolt the front boards on. The plan is to have the side boards removable. Tomorrow is wiring then it will be loaded with firewood for itç—´ maiden voyage.

Wrong wrong and wrong, todays plan that was yesterday plan that was tomorrows plan is to show how the tailgate works, does it swing open when lifting or dose it swing up or down when lifting, do you have to remove before lifting????? Dont you know tailgate operations is the most important selling and or build point after the lift operation on dump trailers, wiring comes last..........

It will pin in the bottom. And I値l have a bolt with wing nut in the top board.

There is 4 pins on the tailgate. I can pull the top 2 and lower it like a truck bed or I can pull the bottom two and the bottom will swing out like a spread gate. If I take all 4 out I can remove the tailgate completely. I’ll send some more pictures tomorrow. Unfortunately I did some work with the mini hoe today and it shut down on me. Spent most of the day messing with it. So now on top of finishing the wiring I have to pull the injection pump off the hoe. Nothing worse than a broken hoe. Lol

I like that tailgate idea, look forward to see how you did that although now is a good as time as any for a commercial break and share how you know a injector pump is bad. Might as well grease the hoe while we're waiting and just in case you dont have enough to do you should wash it to.

Well i was digging a ditch to run electric and the hoe just shut off like you turned the key off. It’s a yanmar 3 cylinder diesel. The only shut off is an electric solenoid. I pulled the solenoid off and it’s functioning like it’s supposed to. Off it releases the pin and pushes a shut off plate in the end of the injector pump. With the key on the pin retracts in the solenoid and allows the spring loaded plate to move toward the solenoid. After seeing the solenoid was ok. I cracked the lines and checked flow from fuel pump and fuel filter. Have plenty of fuel going to the injector pump. So I cracked the lines at the injectors and have minimal fuel. I pulled the fuel solenoid back off. The shut off plate is stuck in.

Since your the OP and we're on a commercial break anyways, take a few pics of this repair if you can stop speaking in tongues long enough, sounds interesting and I might have this problem someday....
