Drying Firewood

Some of the comments earlier in the thread seemed to suggest that the writer believes that it would be hard to get wood dried to (say) 20% moisture because the ambient humidity is (say) above 30%. I don't believe it works like that. I may have misunderstood in any case.

I live in southern iL our percent is average 16 percent I haven proble getting my wood to 16 percent in a short time I cut and by in the winter for resale. I only do Ash though.later
