I haven't gotten a chance to take it out for a spin yet. But in trying to move from one part of the shed to another, I stepped on the deck in order to get over the machine (no room to go around). I weigh 180 and the deck didn't flex a smidge. Solid like a tank.

I have the thicker blade for it and was wondering if a 1/2" breaker bar will be enough to remove the nut.

Mike;

A 1/2" breaker bar will be enough to remove the blade. I'm curious to hear from you if your "heavy" blade is that much different from the "regular" blade. I didn't see much difference between the two when I installed mine.

I haven't put the thicker blade on yet, there is still room on the original for many more sharpening. The heavy duty one is thicker.

Not sure what a breaker bar is?
But it is quite an ordeal to loosen the nut to get the blade off, I sharpened it after one year, pretty beefy.

Breaker bars are great. Long steel handle with a fitting on the end for a socket. Makes any guy Superman. I use a 3/4" bar to loosen and tighten the trailer balls onto the ball mount. The 1/2" one gets lug nuts on and off the truck or van.
