I have been looking a long time for an excavator to do work on my own land. I need steel tracks, thumb, blade and the 18klb class. I have been looking at Cat,Komatsu,JD and others. Every machine is either priced to0 high or too many hours or just a fraud. I came across this Doosan and it is from South Korea . They seem to be a huge corp. Been around a long time. I purchased a Kioti tractor (South Korea) and it has been flawless. Any input on this machine? I have two dealers for parts within 2hrs. Here is the listing. Price agreed to is $35k without the trailer
Thanks

That looks like a pretty nice machine and the money doesn稚 seem to bad for it. Looks like a more common brand, maybe they rebrand the one your looking at. If it was nice and tight I壇 go for it

Brett

Is it a gray market machine or one made for sale in the us?

Doosan is a very respected company worldwide!
Ask the two dealers about parts availability for THAT SPECIFIC machine.
If parts are READILY available......
Go For it !!!

The only downfall it seem's is that it's in CT. Price seem's right (a deal) after a quick Machinery Trader "look around" in the 12K-18K class.
You will love it!

I have friend who is a Cat mechanic going to see it for me.

It takes a lot of truck and trailer to move that around. Just keep that in mind, these machines are heavy *** pigs. But oh boy, do they work well.

My friend can not make it over to look at it. I called the local Doosan dealer. They will be sending a mechanic for a field inspection. I will not be able to be there. What questions should I be asking the mechanic over the phone? Or just let him do his thing.

Are you paying the dealer ? It looks good in the pic, low hours If all the pins are tight and no cracks on boom , frame. I would go look at it myself and run it

Here is the report. Looks good. The dealer told the seller that if i do not buy it he will. Once i get the machine I will be doing a full service. I figure Napa will have all the filters and fluids that I will need. I never serviced an excavator before but have been doing all of my own service for 25 years. I have the ability . Any suggestions as to what I should be doing or fluid types? I always buy service manuals for everything I own. I figured I should do the same for this? Forget the manual. Doosan just called me and quoted $600. He even said that is absurd.
