There are good Vets and there are great Vets. Bad ones specialize, in my opinion. I take my animals cats, horses and cows to a great vet. All appointments. An emergency is a different story. Everyone that is waiting while the emergency is being resolved should be thankful it's not their pets or livelyhood on the line. "Anything can happen to anyone at anytime." Be patient you could be the one with the emergency.
Recently we had the last scheduled appointment of the day for "Floating" a horses teeth. The horse needed more anesthesia than normal before the proceedure ended. The horse cannot be left unattended. In this case the appointment went over by thirty-minutes. People dropping in hoping to get their animals seen since it was still "Office Hours". Asked to wait and they would be seen. One person I heard, left saying he would never come back.
I will take my animals there everytime.
