I agree concerning dj1. Only thing I don't like about Mavic is not being able to use a larger screened tablet?

People use credit cards, carry smart phones, use EZPass, and the government has drones and satellites that can gather all kinds of data about you without even knowing. Those same people get all heated up that a neighbor might fly over their house with a drone. Makes absolutely no sense to me. .
Bet your neighbors wish they could say the same......I've never even seen another drone other than mine.
What I am saying is your fear of toy drones is irrational.I don't particularly like the fact that the government or businesses can spy on me whenever they feel like it. I guess you are saying that because they can, I shouldn't mind if you do too?
I'm sure you have great fun with it, but please keep your video camera out of my backyard. Bet your neighbors wish they could say the same...![]()

Sure thing. Won't step foot IN your backyard. Don't need to:
Nikon Coolpix P900 zoom range test - Pensiunea Armonia - YouTube (has tractor content, relevant)
Nikon coolpix P900 83x optical zoom world record - video test on moon - YouTube
Nikon P900 test zoom - YouTube
That camera is only $720CAD btw, cheaper than a drone.
I think my neighbor is stalking me, seen him googling my name on his computer through my telescope.
I don't go randomly recording anywhere. I'm not defending anyone using anything creepily, just saying because it's on a quadcopter, doesn't make it a peeping Tom device. You are lumping all together with the "bet your neighbors" comment. You worried about dash cams in traffic while you are picking your nose too? Go outside and shout in the air at the Google Earth satellites? Get over it. Rock and Roll, radio, swing dancing and these new fangled flying contraptions are here to stay, like it or not. I get requests from neighbors to fly, check out tall Silo's fiberglass tops for condition, updated farm pictures, family reunion air shots. It's just another tool, like a camera with zoom, a thermal image camera, a cell phone.
What super interesting life you must lead if you think everyone's interested in flying along your property line recording I suppose. Maybe you ought to get to know all your neighbors and it wouldn't be an issue.
