Do you have a drone?

I just received my mavic pro the other day. It is amazing. I went a mile without one hint of signal loss. The portability of it is awesome. I had a phantom 3 and it was nice, but it took a suitcase to move it. They are fun, but the novelty does wear off

Heard about this drone vs. crash test dummy this morning on the radio. Not too much to see, but interesting to see they are doing these tests.

Two guys sitting in chairs with headsets on watching through the cameras of their drones. I was very impressed with how fast they were racing. It reminded me of the pod races in Star Wars! Insane scale speeds. I also watched one tag a tree! SPLAT!!! :laughing:

The drones don't show the cuts. I made the mistake of letting my arm get in the way of that same model quadcopter, and it sliced thru the skin quickly. It was just glancing contact, but it cut me and I can imagine how it might cut a lot worse than it did.

Yup, have one (Mavic Pro), it's tagged, and has a Marco Polo tracking device on it in case it decided to go wandering for some reason. Lets me take nice pictures of the farm as we clean it up. We used to buy photo's from those guys that fly over and then come knock on your door a few weeks later offering to sell you a picture of your farm (speaking of privacy, it's been going on for years guys, lighten up.). Now I just fly up, find the perfect angle, and snap the pic. Don't have to worry if the lawn is mowed or I left the old farm truck in the middle of the lawn when they fly over, since I know when I'll be taking the picture myself

Amazing tools/toys. We used it to fly along the drainage ditch and find where it had dammed up, would have been hard to otherwise, not enough snow for snowmobiles, but to much snow for quads, just fly along the route and voila.
