If you don't have a truck I would definitely do what has been suggested and get a decent beater with plow. Yep, say $4k. That leaves $6k for good ztr. Best you can afford. I've a 25hp cabelas, (t234 tym) with mmm and fel. With 60" mower, it covers the ground twice as fast as my old lawn tractor (which I would avoid like the plague.) Lawn tractors are junk imo after owning multiples over the years. I mow roughly 4 acres in 2 hours. Ztr, would probably cut an half hour off that lawn tractor would double the time. You can haul and plow with truck, mow with ztr save for tractor.

I second the comments on the utility trailer. It's a huge plus. I had a similar decision and went with a ztr, honda tracked blower, and a Grillo 107d, a $2800 Italian two wheel tractor. I use a generator, sickle mower, cart, and tiller, off the PTO of that unit. The snowblower is $1000.

I rented uhaul trailers for a major Reno, I should have just bought something.
