DK65S advice

Just bought my first Kioti
Any advice from DK65S owners out there?

All I gotta say is.. keep those fuel filters changed 2x a year or expect to break out a cool grand for an injection pump.!!

If ur talking about the cost of the inj pump.. believe it..
The parts are “captured” and not available to the open market..unlike a Kubota, Mitsubishi or just about any other manufacturer..
U can only get a complete pump for the DK series..
Call around and ask how much a pump is..
It’s a hellofa lot cheaper to change the fuel filters 2x a year weather you use it or not..
If your using it, dirt and debris are getting into the filament..
If your not using it, the filament is sitting in fuel deteriorating..

I have a 2018 LS XG3025H and for some reason or another I'm getting water in my diesel fuel. I have changed the filter on the bulk tank but it seems water is still getting into the tank on the tractor. So what I'm looking for is a fuel filter bowl with a drain in the bottom. This way I can twist...

Is that pump a 'High-Pressure' injection pump like what is found on, say -- A Cummins or Ford Diesel?

I know those are extremely sensitive to any contamination at all. The CP3 less so but still finicky.

When do you start getting into those type of Injections Pumps? Any Direct Injection, with a turbo, at a certain HP?

Yes, but they don’t produce anywhere near the pressures..
I’ve been doing this type of work for a living at a pump shop for 35 + years..

Just had pay $250 for rebuilt one from local shop

My bad. I wasn't clear on my question.

What I meant was, "When do the manufacturers start using the extreme high-pressure fuel pumps?"

Curiosity is all that prompted the question. Nothing more.

These little tidbits of info are good for 'bench racing' and to just keep up on what's going on in this world, which is leaving me behind these days.

Looking for workshop manual and illustrated parts catalog
I found a workshop manual for a DK65 but not 65S
I'm also used to going on Kubota.com and finding every single part for the tractor but looks like Kioti unfortunately doesnt provide that info

About a quarter of my seat cushion is gone
What advice do you have for me?
Repair? Aftermarket replacement? Can't afford new OEM

I know when that happened to a friend of mine, I told’m to go get a “throwable” PFD, the kind u have to have in your boat. (Seat cushion)
They’re comfortable, lots of fade resistant colors, AND PORTABLE..it’s a cheap option for ya..

There's automobile upholsterers that can fix it if they're in the mood.

Also, there are Motorcycle Seat makers and re-upholsterers that could certainly do it.

Also, there are Motorcycle Seat makers and re-upholsterers that could certainly do it.
