DK40se Sunshade $$$ WOW!!

My local dealer in Monroe, NC quoted me $349.00 for a sunshade. I thought that was a bit high! It must be fiberglass for that price!
BTW we broke a 130 year high temperature record of 80 today due to the jet stream(so they say).

I think that is pretty much the going price on the Kioti sunshades. I was quoted $350.00 on one for a DK35 back in 2003. I don't remember if they were fiberglass or thick plastic. They had metal support arms. They look really nice. My dealer also had some that were made of diamond plate metal that were really heavy duty and it also had a sound absorption material on the underside. Same price as the Kioti sunshades, but didn't look nearly as nice. I hear that the regular sunshades reflect alot of noise.

That price is fine. The canopy for the CNH DX31/NHTC31 on the CaseIH configurator is about $650.00 and I would say its made of gold instead of figerglass.

I agree, that is about a standard price. It also depends on what they are made of, fiberglass, metal, or ABS. you can get a custom one from several companies that will fit almost any tractor, but the shipping may make you want to order the one from the dealer.

Type in tractor canopy in google and start your hunt there. I have had no luck at auctions or on ebay trying to buy one cheap.

Yeah, mid 300s is what I paid too. Worth it though to keep the sun off your head.

Obviously this is an item that can be sourced from other places than Kioti as these sunshades are all basically the same and clamp on to a fairly universal ROPS. I don't recall the independent brands being much different in price though.

I think I paid around $375 for a Kioti sunshade several years ago.
