DK40 question

I purchased my DK40 in 2002 and I notice that they are now called DK40SE.Can someone tell me what the SE is for? Supercharged Engine?States Edition?Stalls Endlessly?Super Enormus?I could go on but,by now you can see what this is doing to me....Mike.

Hi,
I don't think it actually has a meaning. Only a couple of initials to make it different from it's older model. (special edition?) Whatever you want it to be.

As a dealer KiotiDave should know but I thought there was a fair amount of difference between the pre 2007 DK40 and the subsequent DK40se. I cannot imagine that the pre 2007 had electrohydraulic controls for 4wd or PTO nor that it had a full suspension seat. I could be wrong. The engine might also be somewhat different due to new emission standards.

I thought I heard from another dealer that the old DK40 is very similar to the DS4110 however.

Hi IT,
I was only talking of the meaning of the initials "SE", the tractors are very different and much more up to date with what the competition is putting out there. The DS4110 is more like the older version of the DK40 with a few less features.
I still don't know what the SE is suposed to mean.
