DIY Tractor 4x4

Greetings. At the beginning of the summer I started building a garden tractor. His task was to mow the lawn, the result exceeded all my expectations, so I decided to do 4x4.

I used the gearbox from the car, dismantle 3-4 gears, they are now not necessary

This way I got 8 forwards and 4 reverses

Yes, this is a new project.

Additional reduction gear and PTO drive shaft. Used gears from a car.

Shortening of the semi-axis. I didn't want to weld "butt to butt", I think this method is not reliable and the axis will break near the welding seam. I cut the axle to length, drilled the hole and pressed it in. Then drilled a hole, pressed a roller from the bearings into it as a key, and welded it in a circle. Time will show the reliability of this method.
