I just bought a 3203 with a 300CX loader. After I got it home and got a chance to look it over real good, I discovered that the tires and all the metal castings on the loader are made in china! What a dissapointment for DEERE!
I dont mind that the engine is Jap, cause I know they make good stuff and they are not communist! For Deere to sell out to china, even if it just a few components makes me sick!! I love John Deere, but I am not happy about this at all. Half the point of buying a Deere is to be buying a top quality American made product!!!
I still love my John Deere, but I am very dissapointed to say the least!

John Deere is a "global" company...not saying that to defend them but it is the reality of business today. I know my dealer dosen't claim his stuff is "All-American" I am proud to drive a Ford truck but my F250 was assembled in Mexico! :)

When my 3520 was delivered and I noticed the "China" stamp (on the castings) not the "USA" that I was sort of expecting it was a suprise.

But they do have to compete AND keep Wall Street happy so I guess we should'nt be suprised, just a little sad.

Just wondering out loud...if its made in China and labor costs are substantially less does JD pass along the savings? :D

You did not do your homework, the Chinax loader has been mentioned here alot. The 3000's first came out with serbian tires now they are china eh?

Ironically go to kioto dealer and look at all the Titan Rubber, yep good american made stuff.

I know that we have to have world trade, but paying a premium for something from China just doesn't go down well.:(

Look what the JD stock has done the last couple of years. It is up 300-400 percent I believe. Just like any company they go where it makes the most sense to make money. Name a single tractor that is made with all american stuff and I would be surprised. JD does make there air seeders right down the road about 30 miles from where I live in ND. Assembled with parts made from who knows where.

This is yet another reason to research TBN before you buy. This fact is plastered all over the place on this board. It's not a secret.

I don't care for Red China any more than the next guy. But it seems like half of what I own comes from there. Arrrg.
