Yes, I used 2x2x1/4" tube for both bars.
They are set 12" out side to out side. That leaves about 8" free space between the bars.
I used 3/8x3" flat stock 3 1/2" long for the pads that the shanks are welded to. The backing plates are the same. Drilled for 3/8 bolts.
The shanks are 1 1/2 x 1/4" square tube.
The frame attaching parts that hold the hiller shank are all made out of the same materials and mounted the same way.
