Disc 18 x 20

A friend of mine has a Kingkutter 18 x 20 disc harrow he wants to trade me for my 16 x 16 disc harrow . will a 2210 Yanmar pull the 18 x 20 . dose any one have a set that big for there 2210.

I think the 18x20 is too big. The 16x16 KK angle iron disc is 460#, the KK 18x20 angle iron disc is 560# and the KK 18x20 box disc is 790#.

Danny, what's the engine in a 2210? Is it just a 2TR20A-X with the injector turned up, or larger displacement?

The YM2210 has a 2T90 engine, most engine parts will interchange. The OEM piston on the YM2210 has 1 piston ring below the piston pin and the YM2000 has all the rings above the piston pin.

I am going to see if I can pull it. will let you know. Danny is the 2210 the only one that has a ring below the piston pin. and will that piston fit in any of the three cylinder.

I don't know of any off hand, but as many engines yanmar builds there could be. I don't know of any 3 cyl engines that the piston will fit, but there could be.

Similar experience here.

My tractor apparently has the same size engine, and it came with a 5 ft 9 inch "Leinbach 97" disc which has sixteen 18" pans. The previous owner said he was told when he bought the tractor from its long-time owner that they were used together for years in a flood-irrigated flat walnut orchard, but he couldn't pull it in a dry pasture.

Everything around me is on a slope and I can't pull it uphill above a crawl, after I put enough weight on it to tear up grass.
