Can any one tell me which would be better. A forward turning tiller or a reverse turning tiller. Looking at either a landpride rta 1250 or rtr 1250 for a kubota 2370.
Thanks

I have had the Land Pride rtr05 for about 4yrs now. It is a reverse tiller. Basically this means that the tines rotate opposite to the direction if travel. They typically do a better job of tilling than a forward tiller. I use mine behind a bx2360. I like it and it has never let me down. I do find that rocks larger than a melon tend to get jammed between the tines and the housing. Make sure you set the clutch properly to prevent damage.

Would it ve a safe guess that you have the 50" model? After running that machine with your tractor do you feel it maxes out your tractor or could you run a 5' model?

I have three tractor tillers as I've been doing custom tilling for MANY years...
I absolutely want my tillers running forward...

I also have a 72" Deere tiller that I use with my 4520 (60hp) and that is a good fit.
