Oil & Fuel Diesel pump belarus 250

I recently bought a Belarus 250 or as it called here in Poland (where I live) a Wladimirec T25A.

The previous owner told me that he had the diesel pump adjusted for less power and better fuel economy. I would prefer to have a bit more power and slightly worse fuel economy. Can I adjust things on the pump myself ? Do I use the by plastic covered screws on the top of the pump?

I just opened the oil level screw on the side of the pump and a lot of oil mixed with diesel flushed out. I drained it and put new engine oil in. Maybe this will also help.

Hope somebody can help me. I have a bit of a language problem here, being a Dutchmen in Poland.

This is an adjustment that you should really have a Mechanic do it. But since there are few Belarus dealers out there..... The screws on top of the pump are the start-stop range. I would suggest you go on line to e-bay and get the manual. It tells you what every thing is, but does not give specifics on adjustment.
