I don't know about this company in particular, but about 1 mile up the road from me there is a guy that has converted all of his diesel vehicles to run off of recycle restaurant oils. He also collects, reprocesses and sells the stuff. Unfortunately, it costs about $3/gallon so it is pretty hard to justify it...

I lost the web page when changing computers... But, there is a group that has done a couple year study of pickups running fry oil in the Yellow Stone Park fleet. Apparently, the mileage was slightly less, and emissions were much lower. No additional maintainance was noted, so it didn't seem to affect reliability.

It was noted that since it sia new thing, prices are really high per gallon. But, it does have possibilities.

There was also a link to a hybridized Harley Fatboy with a custom diesel engine that got something like 120mpg.

Replacing the V-twin with a diesel /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif! That borders on sacrilegious. Why couldn't he have picked some other bike, like a Gold Wing, to do this to?
