Safety is always important. Diesel is a bit harder light with a spark or static than some otherr products.
That is true but when it is vacuumed, some of it becomes an airborn mist which makes it more flammable and explosive.

I didn't know any product would kill or dilute the algae after it was present in the system.

Here you go now you do think of it as a fungicide for fuel. I bought a 300 gallon contaminated tank a long time ago. Drained, shocked it , and fillled it and per Bio Bor's recommendations and keep it it treated never had a problem
