Decompression control

/ Decompression control #31
It's the confusion surrounding the confusing anwers to the not so confusing questions that's causing all the confusion.

I got it:) I should have asked it better, I was trying to avoid using analog vs digital.

I don't use it anyway, as I noticed if the throttle is all the way down, it doesn't start. I pull the throttle back as I see the light go out and she fires up. I'll think I will leave it(decomp) alone, till I have the guts to tear into the engine to see why it is a little sticky on return.

Thanks
Jerry

It's not that complicated, just pull the valve cover, all the mechanism is right in the top of the valve cover. Could be it's just sticky and needs to be cleaned up/ varnish removed/ lubed etc. Also, look and see if something is interferring with the rod someplace, a wire wound around it or something.

I would spray a little Kroil on it, or if you don't have that, some PB Blaster, and that will probably fix it for you.
