Hello ALL!

I live in Northern Ontario Canada
I am looking for a tractor for snowplowing/blowing and fencepost hole digging.

I am currently looking at a:

1950 Ferguson TEA 20 with Loaded Tires, no attachments (asking$1800)

1956 Ferguson TEA 20 with Chains, front snowplow and back grader blade (asking $2700)

both have excellent rubber, and seem in comparable good shape.

I am assuming I can negotiate better prices.

What would your members opinions be on which one would be best for my usage.

Thanks

Oh and 1 further question, I have an option on a 5' or a 6' 3PH 2 stage snowblower. Does anyone know if a TEA20 will handle a 6' blower

Welcome to TBN!!!

Those are both OLD tractors!!

Here's a bit of information:
TractorData.com Ferguson TEA-20 tractor information

Looking at the power, I don't suggest a 6' snow blower.
Also, those machines probably have non-live PTO's. That means when you step on the clutch, the PTO stops. You'll also probably want an overrunning clutch on the PTO as well.

LOL Yes they are old tractors! I am also working on a 1946 CJ-2a jeep and a 1942 Breen gun carrier. I have a good garage...full but good!

I don't know, it's rare to find tractors in that price range, especially if they're working. That's got to be getting close to scrap metal prices, I can't imagine getting them much cheaper, but all the power to you if you can!
