none yet; looking at Kubota 24-34HP models
Hi all. I've only been lurking a couple of weeks; this forum appears to be an invaluable resource, so I'm gonna ask my first quesiton.

I will be relocating to central AZ later this year, and plan my first ever tractor purchase. My choices so far lean to several Kubota models, in the 24-34HP range.

The question at this point relates to dealerships. There only seems to be one game in town for central- and south-central AZ for Kubota, and that is Bingham Equipment Corporation, with several locations.

Has anyone had any good, bad, or other experiences with Bingham, regarding prices, service, or anything else?

I've been to Kubota training schools with some of the guys from Bingham. They seemed like good guys to me, I liked their attitudes and how they liked to do business. Of course I don't remember names, it has been a couple years since I've seen them.

Good luck,
Brian

Speaking of dealership recommendations, Brian, have any new Kubota dealers popped up in the East Bay since the closure of FarWest?

From what I understand, Bingham has been in business since the mid 50's (I think), handles several lines including Kubota. I bought a used model L3650 a couple of yrs ago and was treated very fairly. I dealt with their store in Mesa. Seem to have a very profesional staff, no problems here!

I stopped by Bingham's Tucson store last year, and they are friendly folks who run a good dealership. Well organized, good selection of equipment, and some knowledgeable people working there.

I'll confirm the professionalism and good vibes at Bingham Equipment, Tucson. I dropped in there a few times when on my "winter break." Bingham owns I think 4 or 5 dealerships in Arizona. They have been around a long time.

Thanks to the group for the replies. It appears my initial impressions, though naive, are well-founded. (I visited Bingham in Buckeye two weeks ago). Since I am a newbie, I wanted to run it past you with more experience.

I was impressed by the two employees I met, by the inventory, and by size of the parts and service departments.

Now, if I can just make it through the next 8 months until purchase time arrives, I'll be OK (-:
