Dad's old tractor

Took some pics last time I was down home just for you guys. Dad said he's had it for 45 years, and he's 65. Said it's a 195something... can't remember. International Super C











My entire 32 years he's used it to clear the driveway and cultivate/ disk his garden. Their were two properties we used it to skid logs too. It's been painted once and the plow rebuilt once that I can ever remember. Just before I left home he had the brakes fixed as they hadn't worked before then... and the steering wheel has about 2" play. LOL

Cool! Nice front blade! My father has a Super C, his is a tricycle with belly mower. Still runs great. maybe i can take some pics and post them.

Got a pair of 'em myself, with NFE's. Sweet little tractors. Bottom plate says 54 in the right hand bottom corner. Maybe he found a plate to match the year it was made..??

I see the oil cup missing from the oil bath breather... Hope he was servicing it..!!

She's looking good! Still has the original 6 volt charging system, too.
I sold a 1950 Farmall C row crop when I bought the Kioti.

That's a nice old tractor, and the blade is just one more example of american ingenuity. If you don't have the metal working stuff, make it out of the next best thing!! I would have really been impressed if he had built it so it would tilt and angle!!
