Had to replace a culvert and raise the washed out roadbed.

Made a rock screen to sort material to raise the road bed.

So far I'm really impressed with the road fabric.

Looks good from here  Was the old one rusted through or ? In the one picture, it looks like water has been undermining the pipe.

How well did your rock screen work out? Did it need to be as steep as you have it? Looks like you used 2x4 welded wire for the screen, how well did that work?

The old culvert was rusted through in multiple places and caving in on one end.

The rock screen works good. The amount of wet clay I have, makes the steep angle necessary. The wire is 2x4 welded wire. I'm also playing with laying a 2x2 screen across the top section. This should give me a peel off section to toss the roots aside. Even with the steep angle, I still had to use a rake to get wet clay to travel down it.
