Sold my 2010 Z-Force 44 yesterday.

I had it up on Craigslist for all of a few hours before it was gone. I hated to do it, but with the move and new baby coming in a matter of weeks I had to lighten the load. I probably should have asked more for it, but just didn't feel like going through all the games. $2800 is what I asked and ultimately got. I honestly didn't expect it to sell anywhere that quick.

What eases the pain some is; It was a fun experience owning this machine, but I never did 'love' it for my specific needs. My current 1.5 acres is bumpy and almost entirely sloped, which in some respects made using this ZTR more work than my previous Cub 2544 required.

The only mower I've got now is my old Honda push-mower! Good thing I've got awesome neighbors that will lend me their LT/GT! I pushed mowed about 3/4 of an acre yesterday. No fun!

I guess as a positive note, I'll get to shop for something new once we get settled into the new place. It's only on 1 acre, less than half of which needs to be mowed.

Sorry to see it go, but congrats on the quick sale!
At least you get to do some shopping now......!

Agreed, zero-turns aren't very good on slopes. I have a Tank that tears up the grass on turns, and always wants to skid downhill. (pretty steep slope though)

I might've mentioned I have the I1046 zero turn tractor, and it is AWESOME on slopes......even going sideslope it never falters. And with the tight turning radius, it goes right around trees/obstacles. A prefect fit!

good luck with the new place and tractor shoppin!

That's what I've found as well. No matter how gently I try to turn on any of the irregular or sloped areas (basically all of it), that inside wheel will tear up my weeds..er.. I mean grass!

Traction on slopes hasn't been too bad an issue, but my lawn is bumpy enough you have to go slow. Kinda totally defeats the purpose of a ZTR.

I'm trying to save the cash I got for the Z-Force, but with the move coming up and my wife being due with our 4th basically within days of the move, I dunno how much I'll have left. LOL!

'Nother topic all together, but with my company's "journey to zero" take on employee health care, I'm bracing for impact.
