Cub Cadet GT 2550

I have a 2010 GT2550 also and have put 80 hrs on it. I had the same problem with the bolts you are referring to. They just act as spacers between the upper and lower reinforcement plates at the rear of the deck. There is a tube the bolts go through. Mine were not even squeezed up tight. I tightened them and then cut the excess length of bolt off flush with the nuts. It helped, but the nut will still drag occasionally.

Check the two screws on the hood hinge that hold the bracket to the top rear of the hood. Mine worked loose and fell out. I had to replace them with a size larger self tapping screw.

Also the fuses for ignition and the 12v outlet were reversed on mine. I found it the first time I plugged my tow behind sprayer in and it blew the 5 amp fuse. The other is a 15 amp. It should be 5 amp on the ignition and 15 amp on the outlet.
