Knowing we will be putting up a fair amount of fence the next few years figured it was time to buy my own PHD so I did not have to borrow my buddies anymore. I致e been reading and researching 3 pt PHD痴 for a few weeks and settled between Countyline from TSC (made by Speeco) or EAｴs 6900 HD. Decision was the County line with a 12 Auger. After unboxing to assemble I noticed it痴 not the same one they have been selling and on the website. The Boom is a new design and it actually has some cool features I really like & now don稚 have to weld a rack to hold it up for easy hook up. It comes with two stands to hold the gear box and auger standing up making hook up much easier & a handle that slides into the PTO shaft holding it off the ground, no more chains. Something else they now have I think some will really like is an extended handle from the gear box that allows you to position the auger where you need it. Pretty cool features, now I just hope the rest is as durable as they have been in the past for most. Oh, it is still made by Speeco to.
Edit*. Btw, the storage box does not belong up top. Don’t be like me and assume since the old one had it there and it came with self tapping screws to put it there. Men, we don’t need no dang directions...:banghead: Going to move it tomorrow to its correct place and weld those new holes I made closed.
