I have a Country Clipper JaZee model I bought year before last.
I really like it. The joystick control is easy to use and quite natural. I've found the cut quality to be very good for my purposes. My "lawn" is nothing more than a 3 acre ex-pasture that I've just mowed for 5 years now.
As an ex-pasture, it's quite rough in areas and the JaZee takes it in stride at top speed in most places. There's just two areas where I've learned I need to slow down or suffer quite a jolt.
The flip-up deck is great. Cleaning the deck on my old lawn tractor was a real pain. I either had to put it up on ramps and crawl under or remove the deck. Now, I just un-hook the deck hangars and the drive belt and lift up the front of the mower and the deck drops down to a vertical position for easy access for cleaning and blade sharpening. Frankly, though the JaZee's power and deck design doesn't clog up nearly as bad as my old riding mower so I don't have to clean it nearly as often.
To me, the JaZee seems to be a bit better (quality and $) than the "homeowner-grade" ZTRs but a bit less than "commercial-grade" - which is fine for my 3.5 Acres once-a-week cutting duty.
Going from my 48" garden tractor/riding mower to the 50" JaZee ZTR cut my total mowing time from 3.5 hrs down to 2 hrs.
I'm happy, and the darn thing is FUN to drive!
