Counterweight in s770

Anyone know how much the belly counterweight weighs in the s770? I was quoted about 10 hours to take it out to reduce machine weight. I'm nearly at my max on my trailer and when I upgrade my s750 to a 770, I just don't need the extra weight, wear on tires, etc. I do want the few extra hp for my mulcher, though.

My s750, with bucket and cab and AC on the scales with 66" industrial grapple is 9200 lbs. I don't want to tow a 10k lb skid steer if I don't have to and I'm looking at shedding that weight.

Everything on these 2 machines is identical except the HO rating and the added frame weight. Listed operating weight of standard S750 is 8730# and S770 is 9175# leaves a difference of 445# for the counterweights.

Thanks Doxie, I figured you would know for sure. When I had mine weighed, with an industrial grapple, severe duty tires and A/C, my 750 tipped the scales at 9200 lbs even. I imagine the 770 with AC would be somewhere around 9500lbs if I didn't strip some weight. I remember how the 963 used to wear out tires and trailers. I wish Bobcat gave me the option of 92 hp WITHOUT all the extra counterweight. Heck, put the 92 hp in a smaller frame machine. I just want it to support my pump for mulching.

You hear anything good about the Doosan motor coming? I'm hoping the weight stays the same and there really is a little increase in torque and maybe hp.
