Had the 3PH carrier forks on hand and fabricated the bolt-on box out of 3/16" (4.5mm)
Its 48" wide x 36" front to back and 12" depth. Got a chance to put it to use today moving mulch and a little dirt for our daughter and SIL at their new home. Sure can move a lot in a hurry using the FEL and the rear dumpbox and it makes a great counterweight.
It has about 40 degrees of dump angle which seems to be adequate but one can never have too much. I was amazed at how convenient it is to see exactly where the cutting edge is when loading from a pile. Kind of like a skid steer, I suppose. I added a 6" length link to the end of the top cylinder to get the dump angle and still have enough stroke to tilt the box forward slightly when fully raised with the 3PH. The forks are about 6" shorter than the box so a little tilt puts the cutting edge on the ground.
