Quick report from FORTRESS TASMANIA (Sunday, 5 Apr @ 1045). No change from yesterday re: cases or deaths... still 30 reported deaths for the country.
There's a cold front blasting through the State this morning and we're copping a huge downpour with a wee bit of BB sized hail. Tanks & dams are full! Petrol and diesel prices have reportedly dropped to below A$1 per litre but I really haven't seen it happening here in St Helens. Perhaps later on in the week but I won't be going into town again until Wednesday morning.
All's quiet... waving at neighbours as I see them. We're still smiling and the US expression "Hunker down' is gaining popularity.
Correction: The TV (Sky News) has just reported that 4 new deaths have occurred, so we're up to 34 (all of Australia)
