'Panic' buying may be partly thoughtless but consider this:

We are being asked to shelter in place, don't go out, for weeks and if you believe some of the news, the need for this may go on for months.

So stockpiling many weeks of nonperishable goods isn't necessarily foolish.

But 'many weeks' doesn't mean shopping carts full, unless you have a family of twenty.

The 24 rolls I bought in January, long before any of this got going, should last 4 months or more. I won't be in need of more until May sometime.

X2 . . . but I believe most of us were well prepared before this all started . . .

Still on my winter snow storm supplies ...

MODIFIED HOURS

Until the COVID-19 crisis passes, our store are open with modified hours (beginning on Thursday, March 19) as follows: Monday through Saturday from 8am to 6pm and Sundays from 9am to 5pm. We're moving up from normal just-in-time 2 weeks supply of stuff to maybe four weeks, nothing drastic. I expect supply lines will gradually catch up after that sudden stripping of everything out of the stores all at once.
