We didn't have too much snow last winter...just a few lighter (<6") accumulations...so, no outstanding action pics, I'm afraid.
But this was my first winter with the 4400 and chains, so here's a pic.

Hey Mr. Roy !
Careful the "GLOCK" don't freeze shut on you this year ! :D

Hey guys this is my first year with my new tractor I used to use my Kubota that had a power angle plow and a blower on the back. I have a new Kioti with a bucket and still have the blower, I have never used a bucket in the snow so was wonder if there is a problem with snow sticking in it.... if so what is the best thing to use?

A bucket is fine for clearing snow banks but won't give you that clean look you get with a blade. I think you can get pull type blower units with a blade attached. Now that I think about it that might leave that nice clean look I can't get with my push blower.

Blade one the FEL and rear mounted blower is about as good as a snow removal rig as you can get.

That front mount snowblower is making me jealous

Toddbis,
I thought a blower with the FEL would be the trick for the varied types of winter storms we get here. I would like a blower... Using a PA fischer plow now. It's for sale.

After ten years of turning to a popsicle blowing snow with my JD L 111, I finally got some relief. Now its time to save enough to outfit my SC2400 with cab and 3 pt blower.

New member...couldn't help but keep out of this thread. I love winter...here's a morning shot of my dooryard in between snow storms

2011 JD 4120 with just the FEL last winter for plowing. This picture is just a fraction of the snow removal I have...Horse barn, shop, various woods roads to parts of my property, etc. I think I'll be getting a rear blower this year as my snowbanks get a little rediculous. This picture was taken in January, so you can imagine how high the banks can get!

The blower will definately help with losing the banking issues. Without a blower, i nearly seal off my driveway after 120-200" of snowfall.

Last winter's tractor time for me meant two things: Moving snow and hauling firewood! The Buhler Y500 snow thrower makes an excellent counterweight, aside from its normal snow removal chores, and my old Koehn winter cab takes semi-permanent place on the otherwise open station Ford.

Love that photo!

The equipment, the evergreens and the threatening skies over the hilltops..

Beautiful!
