We seen this fellow fly off a branch right in front of us today while hiking a trail in the Ottawa NF..

Went to a lavender farm yesterday. They had 5-6 large beehives at the edge of the field. Man, there were just thousands and thousands of honey and bumble bees all over that lavender. They were too busy going flower to flower for me to get a decent picture with my phone. They'd land on the ones in your hand that you'd already cut. It was a beautiful, sunny day, and the lavender scent was overwhelming in the rows and rows on the hillsides.

That wasn't a thousand words, but I hoped it described the picture.
