I have a Kubota B7610 (2004) with hst. It is time to replace hydraulic oil and filters. I found the filter number for the hst (Left side when sitting on tractor). I read it from the existing filter on the tractor (White filter with blue writing). The other filter has no writing on it and is black in color. By process of elimination I assume since there are 2 filters listed (ie. Messick's, Coleman), the hst filter number is hh660-36060. Therefore the other filter listed hh670-37710 must be the other hydraulic filter (Next to the strainer screen). My manual and service manual barely give enough info to which filter is which let alone filter numbers.
My questions are:
1. Is this the correct filter numbers?
2. Can 2 hst filters be used instead of having to deal with 2 different filters? (The hst filter costs less)
3. Is Super UDT2 ok to use? (Been using Super UDT since new tractor purchase)
4. Is it ok to mix the UDT and UDT2? (Residual or topping off)
ps. I realize that these are newbe questions and I should remember since I did the last change. I think I bought from the dealer last time so I didn't need to know the filter numbers. Money is tight now and I'm trying to save a buck by purchasing elsewhere.
Any info would be much appreciated by this old man.
