I did see that. Also anyone have any tricks to keep clay and mud from sticking in the bucket? Extra 100 pounds stuck in there each scoop and takes forever to scrape it out. Banging the bucket on a stump does nothing to remove it.

You have got some sticky dirt or maybe clay!

Have you tried spraying the inside of the bucket with used motor oil or diesel fuel. Concrete contractors spray their forms with oil or diesel to keep cement from sticking, might work for sticky clay and mud also.

Was thinking of spraying silicone in the buck should work for at least a couple buckets. Thanks for the info. Not sure if I want to put oil or fuel where a pond is going though.

Maybe you could paint the loader bucket with cooking oil. Its environmentally harmless.

For rollover stability on my present YM186D I turned the hubs around and mounted the wheels external to the hubs, the widest possible setting. There's no shoulder on that side to center the wheel so its essential to occasionally check that the lugbolts are snug. This isn't a recommended configuration but I felt I needed the width for safety.

Turning the front wheels around does nothing since the front axle hinges in the center, it doesn't resist rollover forces until its too late.

I sanded the faces of the rear hubs that are now the outside, to assure they were flat. I didn't have to take off more than just old paint.

I also filled the rear tires with water, and mounted 77 lb wheel weights external to the wheels (photo) where they give the best leverage against rollover. Here are some more 77 lb wheel weights I bought. I might mount these one each on the inner faces of the wheels, or possibly double these on the outer side of the wheels. Or put them on the larger Yanmar if I ever take the backhoe off that one. These came off a 20 hp Kubota (I didn't add that link to Kubota corp, ignore it) with factory loader, where they were mounted double each side.

Are your rear tires loaded (water filled)? That's an essential first step.

No I have not. Just flip the front rims? How do I load the tires?

Sorry I should have been more specific. Only flip the rears and not the fronts as it places way more stress on everything and something will break. As for water fill, put the valve at 12 o'clock, take the weight of the one you are filling, take out the schraeder (spelling?) valve and hold just the hose on the stem letting it burp air periodically. I did this to mine until the water was near the top then refit valve, place back on ground an top up with air to 20 PSI. Job done.

It gets mighty cold up here. Washer fluid be better? I will switch the hubs on the rear today to. Yesterday I was pulling a large blueberry bush and the tractor almost rolled ! It was on two wheels front and rear on its side. The bush was holding it from flipping all the way. I jumped off the tractor so fast. Thank god just a bruised knee.

Yep washer fluid would be better. Take care my friend and get a ROPS as soon as you can. I know the feeling

Got to say started digging my pond and it's pretty much scary getting out of there with a load of dirt. It just wants to tip over and scare the crap out of me.

Since you spent so much already why not buy the Hoye rear spacer kit to move the rears out 4'' per side and make it 8"s wider in the rear. Hoye says it makes a huge difference. There like $300 shipped I was thinking which is not that much considering the loader you just bought.

maybe fluid film in the bucket? I think it suppose to bond more to the metal for applications like your needing.

I'm broke. Lol. Just flipping the rear hubs made a huge difference. Once I fill the back with fluid I think I will be set enough to get this pond made. She does have a set of big balls but I guess I should paint them the Yanmar red.

Funny how you guys think I'm rich cause I bought a loader. I sold my truck. I got a cheaper truck and used the rest to get the loader. I have bills that are late , money problems just like anyone else. Money is for fools don't need money to be happy. I am happy on my land with my family.

I didn't say anything about rich.. I said ,if you think you're broke.. Take a walk in my shoes !..It pays to be happy.. Broke or rich !

I would not be afraid to spray the bucket with diesel. It should work and any residue will long since have dissapated.

You need more counter weight. I found some old tractor suitcase weights that are normally attached to the front. Bolted them to an inexpensive drawbar from TSC. Easy to put on / take off as the need arises. Gives great rear wheel traction and makes the tractor less tippy.
