Great. We were pretty sure it was the soft mounts but that was something we only saw on the rear here and even then it was rare. I am glad you got it taken care of and happy tractoring.

Now the new clutch will probably go out and cause the tractor to stutter and you will be having mounts made out of 1/2 plate steel

Congrats on the fix. Glad they stood in there and worked with you to fix the problem even if it took additional reminding. I am glad you are open minded enough to realize you really like the tractor and will like it even more now that it is fixed. Its nice to hear someone praise the tractor even though for a long time it was a real pain in the butt. It would be realy easy for you to bash the equipment call it junk and be a mad man on a mission. I wish there were more customers like you!

Hey Tractech,
I have found that yelling and going crazy hardly ever works to get you what you want. Now, I had made up my mind I would not accept the tractor the way it was... If nothing else I wanted a new tractor from Montana... and had make that point with Montana management. I had told them from the beginning that all I wanted was for my tractor to be right. Hard to argue with that... but I also knew I had to give them the chance to make that happen.
I also looked at every other tractor and dealer around... bottom line is I did not see another tractor I liked as much.... even when mine had the 'Shakes!!' So I was glad that the problem was solved.
I think the Montana is a GREAT tractor.... and I do have a dealer less than 10 miles away... and as we all know a good dealer is VERY important with any kind of purchurse...
